A granite tor geosite with granite caves and a rare stalactite-like iron oxide formation.
Bukit Batu Lebah is a granite tor geosite displaying rock morphology resulting from weathering and erosion of a granite pluton. The area has diverse geological features controlled by joint structures, such as granite tors, corestones, wall tors and granite caves. A unique discovery here is a stalactite-like iron oxide protrusion on a cave ceiling - a rarely reported phenomenon in granite caves across Malaysia and Southeast Asia. The rocks here also carry unique traditional names given by the local community.
